I purchased this as a gift and the feedback I've gotten from the recipient has been nothing but positive. He states that the device is louder than the wired headset and actually is more reliable than the wired headsets he'd been using.
This is a ok head set if u plan on buying a new one every 6-8 months. I owned this head set and in no time the battery was going dead in less than 3 hours. If u are looking for a good headset save your money and buy a pair of turtle beaches. They will last forever and are only $10 more plus they sound alot clearer when chatting on xbox.
Works great, does just what its supposed to doi gave 4 stars because i would be nice if the battery lasted a little longer, but its still definitely worth the money,especially if you hate wires and wired headsets.
The mic ends up sitting on your face which didn't bode well for transmitting my or her voice. Neither I nor my girlfriend's works that well. I think it really depends on the size and shape of your face. The reason is that the mic does not transmit unless it thinnks you are speaking. This, which is my guess, is to cut back on feedback.
Saw other reviews where people complained of the sensitive microphone and the feedback problems it created for the other people in game or there party. Not sure how they were getting this but I do not get any complaints from other people. I play in a room with surround sound speakers and the game volume pretty high. The ear piece is a little uncomfortable after a while but all I do is switch ears when it starts to get that way.
